Dymock Cricket Club

The cricket club is one of the oldest in the county, being formed in 1868. The club, one of the founder members of the Gloucestershire County League, runs two Saturday sides and a Sunday XI.

There is also a flourishing junior section with sides as U11, U13 and U15, who compete in the Leadon Vale League. For the juniors, qualaified coaches are always in attendance commensurate with ECB demands. The club has a fully qualified Child Protection Officer.

Popular events during the year include the Dymock Knock Out Trophy, which is recognised as the foremost 20 over per side Tournament in this area, with Finals Day (2 Semi-Finals and Final) being played on the last Sunday in July, and the Lads and Dads match whereby the juniors play against the parents on the last Sunday in August.
